Crystal was asked to be the godmother of co-star Devale Ellis and friend Khadeen son Dakota!

This is one of the most adorable moments ever that we had to share it even though it is an older video.
Crystal just attended Kota’s 1st birthday party stepping up and giving Devale and Khadeen her support.
This shows that the cast is really like family outside of filming. Finding amazing friends while at work isn’t the easiest thing to get done but they’re getting it done and we can’t wait to see more of this big family that’s forming.

The 10-episode series marks the second spin-off from a Tyler Perry top-rated linear show to get greenlit by BET+ following The Oval‘s offshoot Ruthless.
Sistas follows a group of single Black females as they navigate their “complicated love life,” careers and friendship through the ups and downs of living in a modern world of social media and unrealistic relationship goals. The women must navigate this new-age dating scene as they continue to search for love in their 30’s.
Sistas ensemble cast includes KJ Smith, Mignon, Ebony Obsidian, Novi Brown, Crystal Renee’ Hayslett, DeVale Ellis, Chido Nwokocha, Anthony Dalton II, Brian Jordan Jr., Kevin A. Walton, and Trinity Whiteside.
